Mohanīya-karma

Fourth of the four ‘destructive’ types of karma, which clouds the soul’s bliss – sukha – and:

  • deludes the soul into accepting the wrong view of reality
  • produces passions – kaṣāyas – and emotions – no-kaṣāyas
  • prevents proper behaviour – samyak-cāritra.
